Fad Diets Are A Permanent Way To Lose Weight

This is just not true. Sure fad diets will help you to lose weight faster than healthy eating and exercise alone, but unfortunately they are just not a permanent way to lose weight. When you are on a fad diet you can expect to have to do some crazy kind of things just to kind of keep the weight off or to lose the weight altogether. Let’s face it, no one wants to have to torture their bodies to get it into shape and you really should not have to. In order to lose weight and be able to keep it off, you need to learn to develop a healthy way of eating and develop a fitness plan as well. This way it can become a lifestyle rather than a short term fad that will only last up until the very first time you happen to “cheat”. By staying on a more “lifestyle” type of eating plan you will not have to worry about gaining all that weight back at a very fast rate.
