The Myth…Only Eat Fruit For Breakfast
Submitted by vanna on Wed 02/25/2009 - 05:41
Well, the myth of only eating fruit for breakfast is by far, the worst one. While fruit is always something good to have in your system, you cannot simply eat only fruit for breakfast and be able to have a sold “mental clarity” day. Fruits help in giving you some bouts of energy, but those bouts of energy do not last long. Fruit is also good in giving you a good source of vitamins and fiber too, but ultimately, you need something more. You need to eat more whole grain foods that contain a variety of vitamins and minerals that you will need in starting your day off good. Also, whole grain foods allow you to think more clearly in the morning and also helps you throughout the day. You can try many different varieties of whole grains such as; whole grain breads, muffins, whole grain cereals that are hot or cold, and crumpets.
