Now we all know that stretching should be part of a daily routine and that finding a stretch that helps to incorporate your back is even more important. Well there is finally a stretch that you can enjoy at anytime and almost anywhere you go. The wide-leg stretch is a stretch that is actually used in most yoga routines and helps greatly in stretching not only your back, but your legs as well. Stand straight up with your legs together and yours arms at your side. Spread your legs apart about twelve inches past each shoulder. Lift both hands over your head and then bend your body over until your hands are touching the floor. Hold for about thirty seconds and then lift your body back up. Repeat this about four or five more times. You should feel a definite stretch in your lower back and your hamstrings as well.
