The wonders of water in weight loss
Submitted by Bob on Mon 09/14/2009 - 08:14
Forget about diets and exercises for a while. We already know that these two are needed in order to lose weight. However, if you are really serious on losing weight, there is one simple thing that you should never forget to do, and that is to drink plenty of water.
Drinking water alone can speed up your metabolism. Water is very essential in our body because it is used by all the organs in our body. In other words, we cannot function without having an adequate amount of water in our body. The liver, which is responsible for converting fat into energy, needs water most of all. Without it, fat will only be deposited in unwanted body parts.
Water is also great in helping you decrease your appetite during meals. As a result, you don’t eat much because you are not feeling hungry. It is advisable to drink a couple of glasses before every meal so that you don’t stuff yourself with too much food.
